About the Proceedings
The International Conference on Gender Research has been run on an annual basis since 2017. Conference Proceedings have been published each year and authors have been encouraged to upload their papers to university repositories. In addition the proceedings are indexed by a number of indexing bodies.
Since 2022 the publishers have made all conference proceedings fully open access. Individual papers and full proceedings can be accessed via this system.

Despite some advances being made in the area, topics related to gender research remain pertinent and are gaining momentum in a changing society. It is thus important to empower and to develop research on specific gender topics, in order to acquire a clearer understanding and to obtain important insights. The International Conference on Gender Research has now been held annually since 2018 and it is a comprehensive forum addressing a wide interdisciplinary range of topics, making it a key event for those engaged in gender studies and related fields.
